GOALS Post’s launch event will be a unique virtual convening, bringing together regional teams from two of the world’s top next-gen innovation labs, Enactus and UNLEASH, and pairing them for collaboration and partnerships. GOALS Post will feature three pairings, from Kenya, Mexico, and the U.S., who will continue to collaborate through the beginning of 2022. Check back here for reports on their collaboration.

Two groups, One GOAL

Directly addressing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — a blueprint to save the planet by 2030 — Enactus and UNLEASH annually convene emerging thought leaders from all over the world who take aim at poverty, hunger, inequality, and other intractable problems with entrepreneurial solutions.

Meet the Innovators…

Founded in 1975, Enactus has an astounding worldwide community of 1.5 million alumni, and annually engages 72,000 students on 1,730 college campuses in 36 countries.

Guided by educators and supported by business leaders, teams of students conduct needs assessments in their community, identify potential solutions to complex issues, and implement community-impact projects.

Winning teams from each country compete in the annual Enactus World Cup.

UNLEASH is a non-profit founded in 2016 with the aim of developing solutions to the SDGs and building capacity for young people from around the world. UNLEASH offers four different programs:

  • An annual Global Innovation Lab for the SDGs, gathering young people from all over the world

  • UNLEASH Plus, an incubator program enabling teams with a prototyped solution to fully launch

  • UNLEASH Hacks, local innovation events (hackathons) focusing on specific SDGs and leveraging the UNLEASH methodology

  • UNLEASH Community, which engages alumni in regional and global gatherings, and provides many more growth opportunities
